Philodendron Micans 6"
Plant Nerd Level: Easy
Light- medium to bright, indirect light. if your variety has variegation, the more indirect light, the better!
Water- water every 7-10 days during the growing season. Let the top inch of soil dry out between watering. most varieties like humidity, so give the leaves a good mist with a fine mist sprayer between waterings to keep them happy
Fertilizer- fertilize once a month during the growing season. Do not water during the colder months.
Soil- aroid mix , or a general mix with orchid bark and perlite
Plant Nerd Tips-
give your trailing/vining philodendron something to grow up (bamboo stake, trellis, wood block) and the leaves will start to get bigger as it climbs up
most upright philodendrons (monstera, congo, etc) produce aerial roots. once you see your plant produce aerial roots, give them a good spray while watering or between waterings
